Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Remote Equipment Hire platform located at remoteequipmenthire.com.au ("Platform"), operated by Riskcom Services Pty Ltd ABN 12 161 565 233 ("we", "us", "our"). By registering, claiming, or upgrading a listing on the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Platform

Remote Equipment Hire is an online directory connecting businesses that hire equipment with people and companies seeking equipment hire services across Australia. We do not hire equipment ourselves, nor do we act as agent or intermediary for any transaction between parties.

2. Listings

Free Listings. Free listings are created from publicly available information and are provided as a convenience. If you are the owner of a free listing, you may claim it to update your details.

Claimed Listings. By claiming a listing, you confirm that you are authorised to represent the business and that the information provided is accurate and up to date.

Accuracy. You are responsible for ensuring your listing content is accurate, current, and not misleading. We reserve the right to edit or remove any listing content that we consider inaccurate, inappropriate, or in breach of these Terms.

Our Right to Remove Listings. We may suspend or permanently remove any listing at our discretion, including where the listing contains false or misleading content, the business is no longer operating, the listing is not relevant to the equipment hire industry, or you breach these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans

Available Plans. We offer Free, Standard, and Premium subscription tiers as described on our Pricing page.

Payment. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis.

Automatic Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Price Changes. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it applies to your renewal.

4. Prohibited Use

You must not use the Platform to post false or misleading information, impersonate another business or person, infringe any third party's intellectual property rights, scrape or systematically collect data from the Platform, or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

5. Enquiries and Leads

We do not guarantee any minimum number of enquiries, leads, or bookings. We are not responsible for the outcome of any transaction between a listed business and a third party.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we provide the Platform on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. Our total liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
